Developed in collaboration with Timothy Haynes, from his original design concept, this house evolves from the intersection of two simple volumes: a large one, with the main part of the house, and a smaller one that juts out of it with the master suite. A large double-height living room defines the distribution of the house, opening it up to the beautiful beach and ocean views.

Alessandra Dini earned her B.A. from Harvard College in Fine Arts, and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. After working for five years in Barcelona, Spain, she settled in New York where she founded Out of Time Architecture, in 1994. In parallel to the architectural work, in 1996 Alessandra also founded New York Works, a design production firm based in New York and in Italy.
