Exploring the potential of the ideas first introduced for the National Museum of Korea, this house is a composition of steeply pitched roofs, organized around an outdoor space overlooking the valley. The different roofs house different functions of the house allowing for natural light to filter through, and for separate sections to have more privacy.

Alessandra Dini earned her B.A. from Harvard College in Fine Arts, and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. After working for five years in Barcelona, Spain, she settled in New York where she founded Out of Time Architecture, in 1994. In parallel to the architectural work, in 1996 Alessandra also founded New York Works, a design production firm based in New York and in Italy.
