On a site like a shallow valley between the historic center of Samarqand and its new neighborhoods to the west, this project takes the form of a pedestrian bridge which joins the two parts of the city, while at he same time giving access to all the various buildings required by the program. A series of retaining walls organize the landscape below in terraces used for different functions.
